6 months

I had to try and update while I had the time! Andi is now officially 6 months old! There have honestly been so many changes, even in the last few weeks! Here is what she is up to right now:

-sits up well
-LOVES to grab for her food and hold spoon
-has tried cereal, green beans, green peas, and banana , and lemon(hated the green beans!)
-had her first case of hand.foot, mouth :) We didn't even know it because no fever or much fussing
-had her first ear infection
-her hair is getting darker and thicker.... we are curious to see if it remains blonde or turns brown
-eyes are still bright blue
-smiles a TON! She is a very smiley baby
-weighs 20 1/2 pounds! haha!
-wears size 9-12 months, sometimes 12-18 depending on outfit and brand
-has 2 bottom teeth and working on some more! teething is no fun and she chews on everything!
-still wakes up a few times a night. When she clears up her breathing and stuffiness we will begin sleep training again!
-still a snuggle bug
-still takes a paci, but doesn't love it like Zoe did
-flaps her arms and legs a lot! She gets overly excited and just smiles and wiggles!
-rubs her eye excessively when overly tired
-chain sneezer
-loved lemon bites at first, and then made a huge pucker face!
-hates being swaddled, still!
-takes about three naps a day (most morning and afternoon naps are around an hour or 1.5 long)

Ok, now. A funny story that I have to post in order to remember. The other day  my mom was holding Andi and zoe stood under her. Andi spit up ALL over Zoe's face! It was the most disgusting and funny thing ever! We couldn't stop laughing and poor Zoe was so traumatized! Anyway! It was a good memory for sure!

We are prepping for Christmas and we are excited to enjoy it with our girls! We love them so, and thank God daily for the blessings He has given.

Andi Mae months 3-5

Ok, sooo. clearly alot of events have happened since the last post!

The last time that I updated my blog, I was still on maternity leave! It was wonderful! I am sad to say that the craziness has kicked in and I am back into the swing of this working mom life with two kids! During my maternity leave, we went to the lake with Chris' family, sadly dealt with the death of Nana great, and ended my leave with a trip to Disney World with my family and brother's family. I will have to do a separate blog post to update the Disney trip! It was quite a trip, leaving us in the hospital with Zoe for three days. Scary breathing issues and a lot of prayers, but thankfully she was ok! Once we returned home, I had one more week until I returned to work. Let's just say it was a very difficult transition for us all when I came back to work, and I am still struggling to find how this works best for our family! I am thankful everyday though, that we have a wonderful Prek that zoe goes to , and that miss Amy still keeps our girls on those three days that Chris or my mom don't. Here are the things Andi Mae has done in the last few months:

(Month 2- shots, surprised my dad for his 60th, went to her first naturals ballgame, went to her first fair with some friends, and enjoyed several trips to the lake.. including her first boat ride!)

Month 3:

-First Airplane ride ( She did great!)
-Trip to Disney World and Beach (She wasn't too thrilled with messing up her naps, but she did well!)
-First "swim" in the pool
-Second stay at the hospital for three days with big sis! (This was interesting and no one slept!)
-Personal visit with Anna and Elsa who came to see Zoe at the hospital.
-First experience with sand all over her! She had a hard time getting this outta the rolls!
- Began to stick your tounge out all the time
- laughs
-sleeps pretty well,,,, mostly just wakes to eat a couple times at night
-Nurses well and when I pump she eats 4 ounce bottles
-wears 6 month clothing
-tickles under her chin and collar bones
-weighs around 14 lbs
-beginning to teethe
-finally loves baths and doesn't get so cold
-still has chunky thighs
-beginning to hold self up a lot better
-sits with support

Month 4:

-pro camper (enjoyed a camping trip at the lake with friends)
-first Halloween- she was a baby tinkerbelle!
-still sleeps in the rock n play by our bed, and wakes only to nurse about 2-3 times
-TEETHING happened! This has affected her sleep like crazy but she still seems happy!
-Two bottom teeth came in
-Wearing 6-9 month clothing
-First silver dollar city trip
-So happy!
-Hates swaddle and screams to get it off, so we gave a little break,
-Finally seems to like paci more
-Chews on everything
-Legs get stuck in bumbo
-sits up better and has good head control
-still has spazzy arms

Month 5:

- Got 4 month shots
-weighs 19 lbs and is 25 inches long!
-Started rice cereal and LOVES holding her spoon!
-Doesn't sleep much!
-Moved into nursery and sleeps in crib.
-Wakes often with simple cries and stops when you pick her up. :/ She is rotten.
-Still nurses well and eats about 5-6 ounce bottles when I pump.
-Sadly went to Pawpaw Greats funeral. :(
-First Thanksgiving with family.
-chuckles
-wears 9-12 month clothes and sleepers (maily bc of those legs!!!)
-holds her head up and loves to "stand"
-rolls from stomach to back and can do other but doesn't
-loves attention! lol
-sits up well and can grasp and hold objects
-holds teethers and objects to her mouth
-holds bottle
-has "scooted" around floor just a few inches!
-Zoe still calls her "squishy" sometimes, but we have encouraged sissy instead!

That's all for now! We are loving her so much, but honestly tired! With Chris' schedule at church and me working, things are busy. I love when we just get to hang out as a family and not do too much! We are so thankful for our happy and silly girl! She really does smile a lot! She also fusses alot too! But, either way a sleepless night is better when we hold her and she smiles from ear to ear! She is a snuggly and chunky little cutie! We love both of our girlies!
