The time is comin'

Well... it's official! We have a carseat in the back of our car!
Chris loaded it up the other day, since we are getting so close to delivery! We figured we should be ready, and figure out how in the heck this thing works! ( I still have no clue!)
I have my bag and Zoe's bag packed and in the car too. I figured that if anything, we will be somewhat ready for the hospital... somewhat!

I have finally allowed myself to do a bit of shopping for her. I admit, I have done really well at not buying much, and trying to wait to see what we need. But, with some consignment sales, and other great deals... I just couldn't resist on these items...

Above is her little Easter hat and bib, and below is just a cute little dress I couldn't resist!

Below are my consignment bargains!

And here is our lil' sweetie!
Here is our sweet Zoe! This was taken a couple weeks ago, but I didn't get a chance to post it.
I am 39 weeks this weekend, and so excited that the time is almost here! It's gonna be soon... real soon. In fact, it's really weird to think that we will be taking care of this lil' one is a week or so! The day countdown has begun! I had a bit of a scare yesterday, and went to the doctor during my break at school. Apparently, my mucus plug broke and my body is starting the prep for labor. They did the cervical checks and exams, as well as ultrasounds to make sure it was NOT the amniotic fluid leaking. I am only dilated to one, and am not having major contractions... although whatever I do have occasionally does hurt! ( I hear they are Braxton Hicks, but ouch!) Anyway, I am not quite there, and things still look good. I admit, I cried after the exam, probably nerves, and the rest pain! There is just nothing off limits with pregnancy! Zoe is head down, and she seems to be moving great. Her heart rate is good... because she was moving so much during monitoring, it ranged between 130-160ish. She was all around! 145-147 seems to be about what she is at. My blood pressure is good, and I have pretty much controlled my sugar levels with the gestational diabetes. They said I have done great, and should have a healthy little baby. (normal size... hopefully not a HUGE baby!) I have been steady with weight gain the last couple of weeks at the appointments. So far, the total weight gain is steady at 20-22 total pounds. It definitely did all come near the last couple of months of pregnancy though, so it feels like a lot to me, and I am sure that I can still gain more in this last week! Sleeping has gotten a little bit better, i just switch from the chair to the bed throughout the night to help with the back pain. I figure it's helping me get ready for transitioning when I am up all night feeding! Ok, well, I guess that's it for now. Who knows, the next post might just be that Zoe is here!
