The crazy truth about hormones...

Well,
It's official! I am pregnant.... and hormonal! I am jotting down this blog in order to look back some day and laugh at how silly things are. I am now 26 weeks along. Three days ago was the first "official" hormonal "cry"! What is bad is that I was laughing hysterically, and for absolutely no reason, I started to sob! Then, today, I came home and caught myself trying to be super"pregnant"woman and get everything done! Needless to say, I got one load of laundry done, laid on the couch, and cried that I couldn't get anymore done. When Chris got home I started apologizing for being so tired and laying on the couch, not getting the laundry done, and then having no clothes that fit. Ha! Of course, being the always sweet guy that he is, he says..."Don't worry about any of that. You don't have to do it all by yourself. We will get it done. Why don't you just focus on getting through work this week." Such a good advice giver... but still, I cried. Then, I began to laugh again at how weird this all is. Waterworks just happen without notice... it's the craziest thing I have ever experienced! As far as baby news goes, Zoe got her crib this week! A sweet friend gave it to us, which she had used for her kids. It's great! Now, I can't wait to decorate the room. :) I am hoping to get a few baby things checked off the list over Christmas break... like to register, check out some child care people, maybe buy bedding???? Who knows! Anyway, I just had to post about the start of the "pregnancy cry" that I have always heard about. I hope I don't experience the "hateful" hormone that some woman talk about... I don't want to be rude and mouthy to people... that could go all kinds of wrong! Anyway, just 14 weeks to go! My belly is stretching like crazy, and hurts. It feels like there is no room in there. Zoe is supposedly about 2 pounds now, and starting to gain weight quicker. I have began to gain more weight consistently, about 8 pounds gained so far. I hear that it packs on the last few months, so we will see! I just keep praying for health health health! I go to the doctor next Wednesday to do all of my glucose screenings, and a few other checkups. Posted is my week 26 picture. :)
